Waning wafting whiffs of seductively sensuous spirits wander my way flirtingly. Nose twitching, eyes closing, scent abounds, senses ponder. Mirthful fluctuations tease and trembling nostrils dance to secret songs. What wondrous fragrence this way comes. Up from seat arising, saunter to and fro, mysterious rivulets of flavor eluding. Tingling tastebuds riot, salivation ensues, curious confection dances away, impervious imposter.

Farmer

Where lilies lie against a pale night's setting moon, a limp body rests. Under scents of tended fields, rain and burning wood, this farmer lies among daisies, dandelions, though fair moon does not brighten such somber mood. What answers unrevealed do break defied trust and sear fragile pride. After many minutes of lying prone this body moves to the horizon, bidden by forces unnamed to find a shadow unburdened, to make a field of uselessness flourish, and be for once at peace.

Forces

Steadily wrenching the horizon back and forth, I watch as the waves take on a life. They take my life and with personality savage toss it about with contemptible force. How did I come to this place, where all is fierce and all is foreign? What that's driven me to be here was a distant memory, perhaps, now long lost. Unbearable peaks, churning dives, and maddening monotony steal my composure, break me. From what world I've come, to this seclusion I can only hope now is a road with two ways.

Glistening underside of smooth exterior, the eye trains to follow trickles of shiny liquid falling from the curved surface. Where amassing on the pavement beneath, an array of hues displays proudly. Fine reflection in blinding onslaught from above draws the eye nearer, towards one end, where skilled hands lovingly smooth waxen finish over beloved carapace. Sing sweet metal, the Sun courts thee in my eyes.

Strung along on neighboring swaths of branch, their seeping juices give flavor to the richly tended soil. Rosy glimmers, a million strong, strike a symphony in dancing moonlit reflections off their bursting silky skins. A dawn approaching hastily brings vines of scarlet to radiant overture under glistening spell of enveloping dew. Wrought skillfully to fruition are the teeming, endless fields of summer grape.

And my love, moon, do you see we all from gloried heights with joy this day, or sorrow too? Dear vulcanous orb, oh, dare you shine not so brightly today as yesterday's rays foretold?
